System Design and Installation
We can assist with analyzing your current energy usage and prepare a preliminary design for solar and wind systems, along with energy storage integration and back-up power systems. Our design services are primarily offered for single family residences, small to medium sized commercial buildings, and multi-unit buildings along with recreational vehicle off-grid applications. We work with independent installers, licensed electricians, local building authorities, relevant state agencies, and utility companies to ensure a smooth interconnection with the electrical grid.
With today's GPS based design software, we're able to offer our basic design service across North America. Additionally, we'll help you source a locally certified installer that will be fully aware of local building and electrical regulations and refer you to financing companies to complete the project. Send us a note regarding your project parameters and we'll respond within 24 hours. Send inquiries to: helpdesk@solarwindsolutions.net
Investment in residential and commercial clean energy technologies along with energy storage capacity is supported at the Federal, State, and Local levels. The Federal government currently offers an investment tax credit (ITC) equal to 26% of the total cost, including installation, of the solar or wind system.
Additionally, each state and municipality (city or town) offers its own distinct set of incentives, including, in many cases, tax credits, cash rebates, and property tax abatements. Using a residential solar system installed in New York City, as an example, the buyer of a fully installed system can realize (based on the total cost of the system) the following federal, state, and municipal financial incentives:
New York City for example:
- 30% Federal Tax Credit
- 25% State Tax Credit
- Significant Cash Rebates - NY State Agency
- 20% Local Property Tax Abatement
- State-Funded Renewable Energy Lending Funds
