The SunWize F4-Tall series battery enclosure is a cost-effective solution for housing four batteries. For instance, these can be “oversized” group 31 batteries. Since this is a pole-mounting enclosure, it’s a cost-effective choice. Because it allows additional supporting electronics, so it is an optimal choice for complicated projects. This allows for power electronic devices, such as solar charge controllers, inverters, battery chargers, and more.

The F4-Tall enclosure can hold a variety of battery sizes with plenty of space left over for controls equipment on its backplate. The rear-mounted backplate measures 15.375” x 13.25” and the side-mounted backplate measures 9.5” x 13.25”. There are three 1/2” knockouts available on the back for wiring purposes

This NEMA3R rated, white powder-coated aluminum enclosure has hinged, key-lockable doors. And it also includes dust covers on locks and a gasketed door. The F4-Tall vents provide passive cooling ventilation. Therefore, the F4-Tall is ideal for industrial and remote solar applications.

The rear-mounted backplate measures 15.375” x 13.25” and the side-mounted backplate measures 9.5” x 13.25”. There are three 1/2” knockouts available on the back for wiring purposes. The sideplates can be used to mount additional small electronics. For instance, PoE devices, DC-DC converters, or additional breakers can be used here.
